Ardmore Music Hall & 118 North Wayne; Merchandise Designs, Poster Design, Promotional Graphics, Website Revamp

 

During my internship at Ardmore Music Hall, I worked with the marketing team to create designs for the venue. I conceptualized and designed promotional templates for upcoming performances, illustrated and designed a poster, and rebranded imagery on the venue website. I was able to work on many designs from conceptualization to completion. Once the internship ended I began designing merchandise for AMH as a freelance designer, created hand drawn lettering and themed logos for merchandise designs, and was commissioned for a Bacon Brothers poster.

  • 118 Dinner Sessions Template

    I was tasked with reimagining the promotional imagery for 118 North Wayne’s Dinner Sessions. The solution I came up with was to showcase their food and drink items along with ambiance from the restaurant to give viewers a preview of the venue and restaurant, and to see who is playing that night. I created this template for the marketing team to easily update their promotional graphics on the venue’s website.

  • 118 Happy Hour Template

    This promotional graphic for 118’s Happy Hour performances was created in response to the Dinner Sessions template. It showcases food items specifically from the Happy Hour menu, and fits the collage aesthetic of the other template, while the color change and typeface change on the header show their differences. This template along with the other are used on the company website to promote their free musical events

“Kiefer Madness” Kiefer Sutherland Promo Graphic

This promotional graphic was inspired by the 1950’s and 60’s “Reefer Madness” books and posters. I was able to make a clean rendition of this to create an old time poster look and feel, with the use of bold typography, layering type, and the funky placements of the smaller blocks of text. I worked closely with the marketing manager at AMH for conceptualization, and was able to render this promotional graphic based on this concept.

Sunny Inspired AMH Merch design

I worked closely with the marketing manager to conceptualize and bring this design to life, an Ardmore spin off to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I hand illustrated this retro typography and turned the illustration into a vector image to use on merchandise.

New Orleans Inspired AMH Merch design

I met with the marketing manager at Ardmore Music Hall to plan a design that is inspired by New Orleans, the venue hosts NOLA inspired music and is inspired by the music culture of the city, not to mention the food. I went with a fishtail typeface that is reminiscent of the festive type you find in New Orleans, along with curly flourishes which were inspired by the ironwork on porches in NOLA, and the city’s symbol; the fleur de lis. And in french at the bottom; “Let the good times roll”
